MARGHERITA

Simplicity told through a flower: the daisy. The meadows are filled with them, and our goats delight in feasting upon them. I like to imagine that these flowers, through our goats, are transformed into precious cashmere. And so, this scarf comes to life, crafted to celebrate nature in its simple yet unique beauty.

The openwork stitch, paired with our finest and most delicate yarn, creates a sensation of unparalleled lightness, elegance—almost ethereal and weightless. Perfect as a scarf, but also as a shawl to add even more style and grace to the most special occasions. A timeless piece, to be treasured and admired in every season.

Sciarpa 100%Cashmere Margherita

Women’s garment made with 100% Alpago Cashmere “CIELO” yarn.

This yarn is composed entirely of cashmere sourced from our own farm, offered in its purest form without any chemical treatment. Although fine in texture, it is well-suited for more structured, needle-knitted garments, while maintaining and enhancing the natural softness and suppleness typical of cashmere.

A versatile yarn, it is ideal both for warm, dense accessories such as hats, and for lighter pieces like openwork or full-knit scarves.

Hand-knitted.

From an ancient art passed down from generation to generation to the present day. In the Neolithic era, humans used their fingers to weave natural fibers until the invention of knitting needles around 2000 B.C. Despite over 4000 years since their invention, knitting needles are still used today (with some minor modifications and modernization) as a tool to create yarn patterns for timeless fashion, enriched by the precious handwork that guarantees the uniqueness of each product.

The natural color that our goats wear is a warm shade of beige.

Our flock of cashmere goats produces an undercoat (cashmere) from the variable color of white to light brown, beige.
The color of the yarn is the result of the combined cashmere of all our goats. For this reason it can vary, based on the year of spinning, making the garments authentic and unique.

CHARACTERISTICS

Inside the cashmere fiber, there is an air chamber that naturally provides thermoregulating properties, helping to maintain a constant skin temperature regardless of changes in the surrounding environment.

Thanks to this feature, the skin does not perspire.

Your skin breathes.

The yarn is also hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs any moisture or perspiration and releases it to the outside.

Suitable for Every Season and Climate.

If cared for properly, cashmere lasts a lifetime.

It’s also suitable for those who are allergic to wool. It doesn’t irritate the skin.

It doesn’t attract hair and dust towards itself.

Its delicacy and softness provide a pleasant feeling of comfort, like a second skin.
