Composition

Raw fiber, 100% Alpago Cashmere production residue.

This is the fiber in its most natural state, reminiscent of the moment it still clings to the goats on our farm. It is washed and then processed, preserving its purest qualities without any chemical treatment. As a mark of authenticity, traces of giarra the coarse outer hair can still be seen, inevitably combed together with the precious undercoat: cashmere.

Processing

Handmade, in felt.

An ancient technique dating back to the 3rd millennium B.C., long renowned for its ability to make garments completely waterproof, and thus ideal for protection against the elements.

This process gives shape and structure to cashmere which, though compressed, remains soft and gentle on the skin.

A timeless fashion, enriched by the precious craftsmanship of handwork that ensures the uniqueness of every piece.

Colour

The natural color that our goats wear is a warm shade of beige.

Our flock of cashmere goats produces an undercoat (cashmere) from the variable color of white to light brown, beige.
The color of the yarn is the result of the combined cashmere of all our goats. For this reason it can vary, based on the year of spinning, making the garments authentic and unique.
