A classic-patterned beanie inspired by the famous “pied de poule” design, where our 100% Alpago Cashmere yarn is combined with a yarn made of Brogna Sheep, Alpaca, and Silk dyed with natural colors. The jacquard hand-knitting technique creates a fabric-like texture that gives structure to the garment.

Composition

Unisex garment made with 100% Alpago Cashmere Yarn “TERRA” and 70% Brogna Sheep, 15% Alpaca, 15% Silk yarn, dyed with natural colors.

We have carefully selected this yarn (Brogna, Alpaca, Silk) from a Veneto-based breeder of Brogna Sheep and Alpacas, who personally manages the care of these animals and the natural dyeing of her wonderful yarns.

Processing

Hand-knitted.

From an ancient art passed down from generation to generation to the present day. In the Neolithic era, humans used their fingers to weave natural fibers until the invention of knitting needles around 2000 B.C. Despite over 4000 years since their invention, knitting needles are still used today (with some minor modifications and modernization) as a tool to create yarn patterns for timeless fashion, enriched by the precious handwork that guarantees the uniqueness of each product.

Colour

100% Alpago Cashmere: the natural color worn by our goats is a warm beige shade. Our flock of cashmere goats produces an undercoat (cashmere) in hues ranging from white to light brown, beige.
The color of the yarn is the result of the combined cashmere of all our goats. For this reason, it can vary depending on the spinning year, making each garment authentic and unique.

Brogna-Alpaca-Silk yarn: Cobalt Blue and Shadow Green, dyed with natural colors.
